Blank walls? Here’s the solution:
When I was at Heather & Ian’s wedding last week and the Millennium Centre, I fell in love with a bank vault & door. I wish I had this in my house. I would never find it ugly or shun it. Of course I had to take some photos of it. I hope that others will see the beauty in this wonderful, slightly decaying mechanical marvel.
Yesterday I had the honour of taking part in my friends Heather & Ian’s wedding at the Millennium Centre in Winnipeg. I spent a good week practicing my reading, and I think I pulled it off. No complaints, anyways! I was happy to attend the wedding as a guest, and enjoy myself with good friends from high school. I did bring my camera along, and here are a few photos from the night. A huge CONGRATULATIONS!!!! goes out to Ian & Heather! I can’t wait to see photos of your honeymoon in Spain!
I’ve been hanging on to these photos for a few months now. Simon is my husband Mike’s cousin. Simon and Suchot were married in July, and we haven’t been able to set up a date for them to come out to our house so I could give them their photos, until yesterday. So, I am very pleased to share these and a big Congratulations! to Simon & Suchot. (Oh – and proof that I do take pictures of people…sometimes!)
Had a busy weekend, took a trip with Mike & the dogs to Wallace Lake. Shot some film, so I have nothing to show you for that just yet. But here are some scanned pinhole images I did awhile back, but just recently scanned. They are unedited, hence the dust, but I thought it might be neat to share.
I have a busy week ahead, full of shoots each day. Which means more eye candy for all of you eventually!
I just wanted to make a quick announcement: I have a just made a fresh batch of photo greeting cards! They are blank on the inside, with one of 13 fabulous (if I do say so myself, and I do!!) images from yours truly at keyFOTO on the front. They also come with a set of blank, self adhering envelopes. You can purchase a set a 10 for $20, or set of 5 for $10 (not including shipping – if you need a shipping quote please send me an email, or use the contact page on the keyFOTO website. For local customers I can deliver them to you personally!
So, it’s a Friday evening, the April air is cool and damp, and you have no plans.
Correction. You do now!!!
Aren’t you lucky?
But in all seriousness, please come out and support some local Manitoba photographic talent (featuring yours truly).
This week has been a busy week. I did some major additions to the website, including some pricing pages for dog portrait sessions and print purchasing. I was all geared up to do the webstore, but I have come across some barriers, and it doesn’t look like I will be adding it at this time. So if you are interested in purchasing prints, just contact me through the website or by email. Yesterday I was out shooting for my 150Kms project. It was a good day. A more relaxed pace then the past few, and the creativity was flowing nicely. So I feel I am over my winter photo block. Which is great. I am very hopeful for what the Spring & Summer will bring in regards to photo trips, the photos themselves, and adding to the images for the show.
I wish you all a great weekend and really hope to see some of you at the show next Friday.
