One of the reasons I love living outside of the city is the wildlife. Sure, you see some squirrels and birds in the city, but there are many more here, and new ones arriving all the time. With spring and fall we get the geese, often nesting in the field behind our property. I took a wander out there to test out a new telephoto lens a month or so ago. None of the geese stayed to nest (we and our neighbours have dogs, so I think the geese felt it wasn’t safe), so no goslings. Maybe another year.
